Capshaw Academy

This Fall, as part of our Capshaw Academy, we’re going to offer an 11-week elective called: Making Peace: A Guide to Resolving Conflict Biblically. The weekly class will be in the Commons Building.

The class, led by Pastor John, will seek to answer questions like:

When should I confront someone and when should I let an offense go?

What if I’ve been wronged and I just can’t let it go?

Are we supposed to forgive and forget?

Is it possible to forgive someone who refuses to repent?

What should I do if I’ve been wrongly accused of something?

Is it ever right to stop pursuing someone?

Those are just a few of the questions that will be addressed.

Pizza with the Pastors

Are you ready for some serious pizza? Even if you've had one too many pepperoni pies recently, we hope you'll still join us for Pizza with the Pastors. It's your chance to get to know the pastors of Capshaw in an informal setting, and ask any questions that have been plaguing you about our ministries, backgrounds, families, theology, or anything else that comes to mind. There's no cost to you; we just ask that you RSVP by September 4 so we can have an idea of how much food to provide. Join us on September 8 at Pastor John's home from 5:30pm - 6:45pm. Childcare is provided. Pastor John's address will be shared with the confirmation.

Space is limited so please RSVP as soon as you know you're interested.
